iLabs, a research institute established in 2006, is dedicated to creating meaningful impact in and outside of the university by engaging with students, businesses, and the community through project-based learning, research, and entrepreneurial activities.

iLabs emphasizes the study of practices and processes that foster the identification and exploitation of opportunities that culminate in the creation of value for organizations and their stakeholders. Research is conducted through direct observation of organizational practices via interviews and site visits, behavioral and economic experiments, quantitative modeling, and survey research. Resources include faculty and staff experienced in experiments, data collection and analysis, and innovation issues.
