Add and Drop Courses

Students can begin adding and dropping courses when registration opens for each term as defined on the Registration Timetable.

Add and Drop a Course

Important:

Students are NOT automatically dropped from registered courses for non-payment. Make sure you are aware of the registration deadlines each term or you could be liable for all tuition, fees, and penalties.

Deadlines to Dropping a Course

Dropping a Course with No Penalty: Students may drop/add courses during the first two weeks of a full term, or the first week of a half term or mini-term and applicable charges will be removed.

Dropping a Course with Penalty: Students can drop courses up to the ‘selectively drop individual courses’ but are still responsible for all tuition and fees. In addition, a "W" will be recorded on the academic record for the course(s). Any exceptions for dropping courses after this date must be approved by petition to the college in which the student is enrolled.

NOTE: A student who wishes to drop all courses should refer to instructions for Withdrawing from Term.
