
每日大赛鈥檚 College of Business has been recognized as one of the country鈥檚 best business schools for the seventh consecutive year. The college is among those listed in The Princeton Review鈥檚 annual publication, 鈥淭he Best 295 Business Schools,鈥 which was released earlier this week.
鈥淭o be consistently recognized by The Princeton Review as a top business school is a testament to the College of Business鈥 commitment to academic excellence and career preparedness,鈥 said COB Dean Raju Balakrishnan. 鈥淥ur students graduate ready to excel and to address the needs of a rapidly changing business world鈥攂oth here in southeast Michigan and throughout the world.鈥
The Princeton Review selected schools based on their high regard for academic programs and review of institutional data. Publication staff also factor in the opinions of students who rate and report on their experiences, as part of a lengthy survey. The survey asked students about their school鈥檚 academics, student body and campus life, as well as about themselves and their career plans.
Editors said students chose UM-Dearborn鈥檚 College of Business 鈥渇or the unbeatable triumvirate of 鈥榲alue, location and name brand,鈥欌 and noted that the college 鈥渉as long maintained a strong local reputation鈥 and 鈥渆xcellent University of Michigan name.鈥
UM-Dearborn students who responded to the survey spoke highly of their overall academic experience and the personal attention received from faculty members. One student noted that professors are 鈥渟upportive even when you鈥檙e finished with their class鈥攊t is not uncommon for professors to help with networking or career searches.鈥
UM-Dearborn鈥檚 College of Business is home to several nationally recognized programs in which students gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside faculty and business professionals in a variety of areas. Last month, U.S. News & World Report recognized UM-Dearborn鈥檚 College of Business as one of Michigan鈥檚 top undergraduate business programs for 2015.
