You can help keep our Michigan Waters Blue by taking these easy steps...

• Keep pollutions out of storm drains. Campus storm drains go directly to the rouge river.
• Never pour anything down a storm drain.
• If you observe a spill / illicit discharge on Campus; report it immediately to DPS at 313-593-5333.

What else can You Do?

• Choose earth friendly landscaping; fertilize sparingly and carefully.
• Store and dispose of household cleaners, chemicals, and oil properly.
• Clean up after your pet.
• Practice good Car Care. Just “one-drop-at-a-time” oil spills on the road or in parking lots causes’ significant pollution in our lakes and rivers. So, repair auto leaks immediately.
