Veronica Son, Ph.D.

Biography and Education
Veronica Son, Ph.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Sport Management in the Department of Health and Human Services at the University of Michigan Dearborn. Prior to this appointment, she served as an Assistant Professor in the department of Kinesiology and Sport Management at the University of South Dakota. Dr Son earned her doctorate in Kinesiology from Michigan State University and holds her Master's degree in Exercise Science at University of Western Australia. Her primary research interest is motivations and team building strategies in sports and mental training in elite sport. She also served as a member of the Korean Paralympic Committee and participated in the 2012 London Paralympic as a metal advisory committee for the Korean Team.
